El día de hoy recibí un correo electrónico a mi cuenta empresarial dicho correo se trata de una supuesta e irresistible oferta que tiene una validez solamente durante un día, el remitente es “Notice Domain Expiring ” procedente de lexymccurdy@0371nk.com.
¿Como funciona?
Si tienes en tu poder un dominio en Internet no importa cual sea, estas personas extraerán el correo electrónico del contacto administrativo y tu nombre, esto por medio de cualquier herramienta Whois y te enviarán una “oferta” a tu correo electrónico.
La “oferta” incluye un conjunto de precios que deberás saldar, esto para según aparecer listado en un motor de búsqueda, en el que no tenemos el privilegio de aparecer porque nuestro dominio no se encuentra registrado. No se trata de una renovación de dominio, sino de una renovación de una publicidad que no existe. Pero si no dominamos mucho el inglés, podemos caer en la trampa. Para ello es conveniente siempre bucar referencias en Google, y como casi siempre están en inglés podemos utilizar el traductor de Google para darnos una idea de que se trata.
